最近買了1塊supermicro mini-itx support 64GB RAM的motherboard, 我裝了32GB RAM. 我最初用ROS X86作為底層OS, 但測試下來發現ROS X86的KVM只support不超過2GB RAM, 所以後來把底層OS換成了ESXi + VM ROS X86, 到現在因為一些原因又把底層OS從ESXi換成了windows server. CHR在NAS上測試過, 我仲未搞到佢上AWS. 阿里雲裡virtualbox用唔到64bit OS, 不能用CHR, 只能用ROS X86. 不過CHR有個不好的地方是license是用system ID, 遷移起來不及virtualbox或vmware裡的ROS X86方便. [quote]回復 角色

下了单后，校长建议我买J1900 无风扇的那种。1037U 还是会吵。不过校长那里没有。我要再找哪里买。 根据我以前的信息，如果要用KVM，CPU起码要J1900这一类CPU （带有Int VT-x），所以1037U也可以，现在问题是我们的用途是什么味主要。如果要求不高J1900也是不错的选择，不过如果功能好一点的用1037U，或者更加高的CPU是必须的。 看来看去，终于找到一个适合的CPU速度比较：

Intel I5/3317U 1.7G RMB$1999 (6 Ethernet Port）
intel 1037U 双核 $1300 （6 Ethernet Port)
intel J1900 双核4线程 1.86G $1080 (4 Ethernet port)
J1900 只有4端口， 好像 WIFI 是USB， 静，不用风扇。
1037U 有6端口，WIFI PCIe，只是CPU FAN比较吵。
I5 没有问。
变成
J1900 + Switch + WIFI AP. （有没有人试过）

我想过，以下是问题：
1）大部分的笔记本是用Intel Wireless 模块， ROS 没有Intel Wireless Driver. 要买新ROS Wireless Module。。。
2）只有一个LAN Port，USB－》Ethernet 太慢。
3) 看多旧的笔记本，T61-X200 都不能长期在高热运行，换风扇太贵。 真的不知道，最主要是network card问题，有member自己购买4 port LAN card。
如果不是要求太高，买一台RouterBoard就算了！省电，省地方。建议先购买 [b]回復 [url=http://www.telecom-cafe.com/forum/redirect.php?goto=findpost&pid=42767&ptid=6880]27#[/url] [i]角色[/i] [/b]

x86 in vm? We have to buy an industrial grade of PC with several Ethernet ports and get RouterOS installed. Afterwards having applied KVM package, you are able to run another guest OS such Debian on RouterOS KVM package.
