iNum有什么用？

可能很多人都不了解什么叫iNum，iNum全名叫International Number。iNum有一个Country code +883， 就好比如香港的+852。现在欧洲有多家电讯商都推出有可以拨打iNum的Applications，这个就好比如电讯商提供Skype一样。

iNum是怎样得到？你可以参考www.inum.net里的operators，然后看看它的怎样提供链接的。而我的iNum是从Gizmo5来的。如果你有Gizmo5，再用ATA把Gizmo5接好，那么如果有人拨打你的iNum，你的ATA电话就会响。如果你想拨打其他iNum，你拿起电话机，拨打011 883 xxxxx xxxx就可以。前面011是拨打国际长途的字头。

如果你的iNum配合Rebtel的话，那么你的打电话方式又会多很多了。

有此一問，是因為在另一網站看到，有人從星加坡打出，他是叫人先撥:

其實，此種撥號方式，真是水蛇般咁長，真是要用Speed Dial 才能順利使用。

011是在美加打国际长途字头，如果在中国大陆地区是00。其他地方要按照当地怎样打长途方式拨打。

在帖子提及到的方法，也有不少VSP提议的方法。现在很多Operators都积极参与+883 Country code的routing工作，因为他们可以增加收入，有些地方就不收费。

iNum簡單來說是一個免費的"STN->VoIP(->STN,如果有ATA)"

其實香港也可以的...香港的access number是58080177
即是說...在香港的可撥:
58080177 883 XXXXX XXXXXXX
(或正如你所說...可在手機的通訊錄中設定58080177p883 XXXXX XXXXXXX來撥打)

可能是比較長...但好處是在外地的時候也可用本地電話價錢撥打回香港(假如你的iNum已連上了ATA/Asterisk)
例如我到了日本,也可用我的漫遊手機撥345209777(日本access number)883 XXXXX XXXXXXX
這樣的話...(以3HK日本DoCoMo漫遊為例)
即使是繁忙時段也只需付$6.17(非繁忙$4.29)...比起HomeDirect $7.9(直撥$19.64)更便宜...

我也在嘗試將iNum連到我的IP01中...
跟著連進來後再撥出號碼...
但是我那台IP01是說register了的...但總是撥不進...

IP01撥不進的可能性，可能是 allowgust=no，改一下allowguest=yes 試一試吧。稍後也跟你地學習試玩一下這個iNUM的玩意兒

如果你用local卡打当地的iNum access number, 那么更加便宜。

剛剛試過用 XSTN 58080177 883 51007 XXXXXXX 經IP01 接 ， 不成功。

I have the same problem. May be perhaps not yet fully work out the connection requirement. Howver, 角色兄 and I test solution, skype-> rubtel-> inum -> asterisk-> pstn, quality is quite ok.

As we have experienced before that whenever any second-stage diallings involved, the failure rate of reconizing the digits will be high. As a result, the system often asks you to re-input the iNum that you want to reach. In order to reduce the failure rate, the IVR behind iNum access number must be very close geographically. The access numbers are of SIP-type intead of ordinary PSTN type.

Just tested by using iNum to call from both Mobile and XTSN to my IP01 extention.  It is a success with very clear conversation voice.

However, I failed AGAIN to call from IP01 to other iNUM users.

哈哈!  終於成功了。由IP01 以iNUM 用 Gizmo5 打出給member，打得通，但對方沒有人接 (他可能不在)。 稍後再confirm 是否真的成功。

原來係自己SET野太多又或太耐沒有在IP01上加TRUNK，竟然忘了在Dial Plan 欄上把新加入的Calling Rule 加上剔號，因此沒有給自己授權打出。最初仲以為自己SET錯野。

真是慒到上心口。

在此，多謝角色兄較早前花時間跟我測試。

终于可以让bubblestar兄明白怎样用iNum。其实为什么很多PSTN operators都愿意加入iNum，最主要可以赚钱。为什么呢？是因为你想打iNum电话，它都可以收费。但是VoIP公司拨打iNum，因为不会有成本增加，很多都不收费，希望大家可以用他们其他的服务。

looks like the Siemen iNUM is different from what we are talking about here, the Siemen iNUM stands for intelligent Number Mapping, not International NUMber!
