花了好几天的时候，终于明白怎样利用VirtualBox + RouterOS（暂时搁置GNS3，问题多多，花了超过60%的时间去搞GNS3与VirtualBox连接，但是效果不好，没有办法宇pc的winbox链接，等把VirtualBox弄懂了，再去跟GNS3连接）。

但是在VirtualBox + RouterOS已经非常好用了！！！

RouterOS在VirtualBox可以建立4个Adaptors。如果你想local PC的winbox接到你VirtualBox里RouterOS，那么那个Adaptor要set “Bridged networking”，adpator set了“Bridged networking”后可以上Internet，而Internet的PC也可以ping到RouterOS。

而有些interfaces接其他devices，就可以set“Internal networking”, 大家看成一个vlan，当然不是vlan，只是往这个方向想。

如果是routing方面，那么用VirtualBox + RouterOS也非常好用。

把题目次序调换一下，先学好VirtualBox，然后加入RouterOS，最后才和GNS3结合。估计随后会做比较试验，做好了再放入实体机验证。

哈哈，我想起当年我们一起学习VoIP的ATA，然后Asterisk（其实当年去深水埗的时候，在二楼黄金商场，在一个转角位的一个店里的工作人员说“VoIP ATA只是一小部分，如果你学会Asterisk，你才对VoIP整个流程更加了解！！！”，于是从那个时候开始对Asterisk学习。

那么本帖子与学VoIP Asterisk有什么关系呢? 关系就是大家有同一个platform，这个是非常重要的，如果没有，你有你讲，根本都follow不到！！！很多都不能比较跟随。如果你有一台电脑，然后下载适合的软件就可以开始——Road to Learning Networking Routing and Switching World via VirtualBox and RouterOS。

可能有些members也不太明白，不要紧，只要members根据这个帖子，然后建立一些网络，当然你最后有实体机，simulation做好后，可以放上实体机测试效果，这样效率会高很多，因为很多实体机都在Production上，如果犯了一些（N多低级错误）搞到整个network都不能工作就不太好！

（不过很快又开学了，我也忙了，所以可能写帖子的速度会慢一下，其他members有空也可以建立一些模拟网络来，讨论一下）。

因为RouterOS不太，而且功效比较强，我们可以把它configure到不同的devices：

Router（本身就是）
L3/L2 Management Switch
Terminal (可以set DHCP client，static IP client，PPPoE client，等等）

VirtualBox最多给你set8个interfaces，但是VirtualBox GUI最多让你set四个，其余可以用VirtualBox command去set。
