VOIP 其實可唔可以駁 fax? 如果兩邊都用 SPA3000 + FAX 機.

如果中间用Direct IP dialling，应该可以。

如果是在 Internet 上，不完全是可行的，箇中原因可以參考這篇文章

儘管如此，仍有一些商用的硬體解決方案(FAX gateway)。

谢谢alang的信息，可能我在第二楼说得不太细。

如果FAX machine有支持T.38，而ATA又支持的话，理应可以Fax over VoIP。但是我自己真的没有试过，但是我从网上看过一些资料，在codec方面，一定要G711等codec。

Switchvoice has a IP01 p version that support fax.

我觉得用ATOM PC起Asterisk Server也不错，什么codecs都可以用，而且非常稳定，不想ATCOM IP-01那样，有些特别问题就分分钟hang机！

i just try fax with Fax machine + SPA3102  , with Fax Passthru Codec G711u  and FAX Passthru Method = None , does set codec to G711a make any difference? any other parameter should be set? many thanks!

Based on the information from other threads in this forum, only HKBN 2b can give you a reliable FAX connection. Yours is NWT NetTalk, right?
