    Please check with bubblestar who encountered the same problem. For me, I do not and I never play the skype at the server machine to test. I use asterisk softphone to test. No problem encounter but takes care on the ip and ports for connection.

Why this happens? You have different users to execute the programs

It does not matter which user for VNC for you to login. But, you need to install siptosis and skype under the same user

For me, I have 3 users that VNC can handle. VMC server is installed by root. My vnc access port for root is not the default 5900.

However, both skype, siptosis, wine are installed by root

Yes, it will be a bit safer. Also you may consider to add vnc over ssh feature.
