Sometimes the download speed was 3Mbps and sometimes it was 400Kbps. It depends on how good the Internet connection to the mainland China.

应该是这样的，从竹波大学Softether Coporation在2004，产品是就Packetix，最后的version是1.4，而且要收费。Softether Coperation后来把这个产品公开免费，产品从Packetix，renamed到SoftEther VPN Client，之前sever是utvpnserver，现在是SoftEther VPN Server。
