運行Asterisk Server 本身可能只需少於2.5W 電量

最近在ckleea兄協助下購入一部 mini-itx 底板作藍本的小型電腦作Asterisk Server，現在終於攪好了，今晚可以正式開工大吉，是運行Asterisk 1.8 的。

購入原因是希望可以低碳運行，雖然淨底板 + PICO PSU + PCIe Wireless/Bluetooth 都要用去23.81W，無咩特別超級省電，但估唔到，加了一隻SSD 硬碟及一塊TDM400P + 2 FXO / 2 FSX 子卡，用電量竟然出奇地能夠維持在25.77W - 26.3W左右，即是說，後者的加入只是多耗用大約 1.96W - 2.49W 左右的電量。確是很意外。

    I think it takes some time to evaluate and observe its actual performance.  The first impression is that the system is running in a very quiet state and respond quickly.

The SSD is 60GB.  I compiled from source using the latest Asterisk 1.8.1.1 version directly.   

Not using GUI yet.  The bad failing experience is still hanging aroung my head.  What do you think of the probaility of success at this stage?  Anyway, will try it later after setting up new features such as Google Voice, etc first.

技嘉D525TUD 雙核的我也有用。角色兄是使用 Intel D510MO 單核的，如果只計算單項底板省電方面，他的一定勝一籌。但不要忘記，要低碳同時，也不能太過犧牲效率的。而且還要看整體配置及實際應用用途等，只要內裡組件配合得宜，一樣做到低碳目標的。

印象中，角色兄只用 1GB RAM，一個40GB左右硬碟 + TDM400P 連 2FXO 子卡 (沒有用FXS)，食量相當細小，可能還沒有風扇(可以少 1 W)。但據悉，他也有打算要購入另一部D525作戰用呢!

而我的技嘉D525TUD 用上4GB RAM + 老舊的320GB HDD 大硬碟 + 2FXO 及 2FXS，所以食電量當然會大了一點，而且是用傳統的ATX 400W大火牛 (風扇三大把，呢度都用唔少電啦)。因此.....

現在新的 Intel D525MW 也是用上 4GB RAM，不過改用了SSD硬碟和PICO PSU 供電，其他則用回舊的TMD400卡。但只需用少於2.5W電量。這個投資，長期計相當化算。

Intel D525MW 是否用固態電溶，我也不太清楚。

Quite satifactory at this point of time.  When booting into the system, I always find that my system is up faster than my Monitor respond to detect itself.

Don't jealous, act now.
