Just learnt you have written a lot.

What kind of USB stick you have now? USB 3.0 or 2.0.

Mine is still an old "2.0" 2G stick for backup and restoration purpose.

    Itmay be the Problem of your notebook bios. Normally it won't be fixed by the vendor.
