【角色茶桌】—— xterm （putty可以做xterm吗？）

由于经常要remote-login问题，有的时候真插mon和keyboard不可，但是我知道在Unix-2-Unix，可以用xterm，然后direct display到一个xterm就可以，但是在Windows里应该也有同类的产品，不知道大家是否有用过呢？

听说Windows里的putty是可以作为xterm只用，那么是怎样set呢？

Depends on your host, putty has telnet, rlogin, and ssh(this one should be used when available!) login function.

Just select what kind of connection you want, type in your username, password and possible port number to connect your host.

There are several ways
1. GUI via vnc
2. GUI via nx server
3. GUI via ssh
4. Normally, I use ssh through putty or WinSCP

可能我的settings不对，所以出来的效果不太好，就算用一个画面都有些乱码。

Should not. Default settings work in most case. Only need to work on the security if access over internet.

I use SSL-VPN

亂碼方面，可能在設定上要轉為UTF-8。你有用中文嗎?

What do you mean? My set up is pity straight forward. I just download the portable putty to run. You wont' expect to use Chinese through putty unless you download a version from ? Taiwan.

You may recall we only type English 26 alphabet characters for the linux command. Do you want to use Chinese remotely for your linux machine? You need VNC or NX terminal

正如ckleea 兄所講，若你要遙控家中的CentOS / Asterisk Server，先安裝VNC，之後就可以利用VNC Viewer 直接看到CentOS 的 Desktop 畫面了。

另外，若果你也想安裝WINE及在其上設置OBiAPP，VNC 也某程度是好幫手，因為有時候，OBiAPP 沒有預期啟動，你也可以利用VNC 遙距CentOS GUI 作出更正。
