SSH tunneling+tinyproxy with openwrt?

Due to RouterOS' limited openvpn functionalities(requested by many users to implement udp support for a few years but never get respond), I am thinking of openwrt solutions.

Besides openvpn solutions, I found that there are many introductions to SSH tunneling+tinyproxy to pass thru GFW. Has anyone tested this solution?
